While this has been a controversial subject for quite some time, it can be said that Kirkland Vodka is gluten-free. According to gluten.org, gluten is a heavy compound that is not volatile, meaning during the heating of distillation, it sinks to the bottom.
Well, we only want the alcohol that is sitting nicely at the top. So we end up leaving that gluten stuff sitting in the bottom of the still where it belongs.
